Pre-clean roof inspection
An experienced roofer checks the roof before cleaning and notes any visible issues or repairs that may need attention now or in the near future.
Scaffold tower access
The moss removal is carried out from a scaffold tower. Access arrangements are assessed for the property and explained before work begins.
Air-powered moss removal
Specialist air-powered scraping equipment removes the moss without high-pressure water jetting during the scraping stage.
Gutter cleaning
Gutters are cleared as part of the roof-cleaning service — not as an optional upgrade.
Biocide treatment
A biocide (a treatment that targets organic growth like moss, algae and lichen) is included to tackle remaining growth and help control regrowth.
Three-year no-moss-regrowth guarantee
Your roof clean includes our three-year no-moss-regrowth guarantee. If the moss returns within that period, we'll sort it.
Repairs are quoted separately: If the inspection identifies repairs, we explain what we've found and quote for them separately before any repair work is agreed. Repairs are not included in the roof clean.

It's specialist roof-scraping equipment driven by a compressor that lifts moss and lichen off the tile surface using compressed air. It removes the growth mechanically instead of blasting it with high-pressure water, which we avoid on roofs because it can crack tiles and scatter debris.
